I went to Disneyland yesterday, and for the first time ever, viewed the Disney Gallery. (And what I’ve been missing!) There was a special celebration of Mary Blair and her artwork. She designed the It’s a Small World design concepts and also contributed to other Disney productions. I was mesmerized by her artwork and all the colors, and have come to truly appreciate her as an artist. I wish I had bought a print because you can only buy them in Disneyland!
